UCCE Master Gardeners Bring Research-Based Knowledge to the Gardening Public

Trained UCCE Master Gardeners extend practical gardening and landscaping information to the residents of San Bernardino County.   Each volunteer has completed a rigorous training program and has agreed to volunteer at least 50 hours back into the community.  MG program priorities are to help residents learn how to grow food in backyard, community, and school gardens; landscape more sustainably to save water and other natural resources; and create healthier more active communities.  

Our Master Gardeners are UC trained volunteers who come from all walks of life.  If you are passionate about gardening and sharing your knowledge with others consider becoming a Master Gardener yourself!  The next training class runs from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Saturday October 3, 2020 - March 6, 2020 and will be held online.  A link to complete the online application will be posted here on or before July 1, 2020.  Applications must be received through the online system by or on August 31, 2020.
